The outcome
Learn the interaction loop using a small task with a clear outcome.
Qoder is a agentic coding platform with editor, Quest, CLI, repository knowledge, and multi-agent workflows. Delegating spec-driven development in isolated worktrees, reviewing autonomous changes, and using repository knowledge or expert agents for complex engineering tasks. This guide narrows that broad capability into one repeatable outcome, with checkpoints that keep the source material and your judgment in the loop.
Before you begin
Set the boundary before the tool starts.
Choose one real task, identify who will use the result, and decide what evidence or test will make the result acceptable. Gather only the source material needed for that task. If the work contains confidential, personal, regulated, or client-owned information, confirm that the platform and account are approved before sharing it.
AI should make the work easier to inspect. If the workflow removes the source, the owner, or the review step, redesign the workflow.
Step by step
A workflow you can repeat.
- 01
Install Qoder and open a clean Git repository without exposed credentials.
- 02
Create a Quest in a worktree and use Spec-driven Agent mode for one well-defined feature.
- 03
Review the generated plan, knowledge sources, rules, commands, and any sandbox escalation before execution.
- 04
Inspect every file and test, reject or revert unsound changes, and submit only through normal peer review.
Working standard
What good use looks like.
- State the outcome before the background.
- Provide the real source material.
- Review the result before expanding the task.
Qoder can index repository knowledge, retain memory, execute commands, use browser and plugins, coordinate agents, and offer commit or push actions. Use worktrees for autonomous tasks, minimize indexed and attached context, review current privacy terms and providers, restrict plugins and MCP, reject unnecessary sandbox escalation, treat generated scans and tests as supporting evidence only, and keep credentials, merges, pushes, deployments, and production systems outside agent authority.
