Before you begin
Set the boundary before the tool starts.
Choose one real task, identify who will use the result, and decide what evidence or test will make the result acceptable. Gather only the source material needed for that task. If the work contains confidential, personal, regulated, or client-owned information, confirm that the platform and account are approved before sharing it.
AI should make the work easier to inspect. If the workflow removes the source, the owner, or the review step, redesign the workflow.

Start with the highest-quality authorized raster, preserve the original, and define the intended scale, color count, editability, output format, and geometric acceptance criteria.

Remove avoidable noise and crop deliberately without erasing meaningful detail, then vectorize a representative file with settings suited to the artwork rather than blindly maximizing complexity.

Inspect paths, corners, curves, gaps, overlaps, gradients, transparency, colors, holes, text, and small shapes in a vector editor at both close zoom and final physical size.

Correct important geometry manually, convert or replace live text appropriately, test the destination application, and retain the source, settings, result, rights record, and deletion decision.

Vectorization estimates shapes from pixels; it does not restore an original design, identify a font, or grant copyright or trademark rights. Complex traces can preserve compression noise, distort lettering, create excessive nodes, and fail in cutting or print workflows. The privacy policy describes retention of image-processing records and possible algorithm improvement use, while the terms restrict AI or ML use of service results, so review policy and configure API retention before sensitive or automated work.
