Before you begin
Set the boundary before the tool starts.
Choose one real task, identify who will use the result, and decide what evidence or test will make the result acceptable. Gather only the source material needed for that task. If the work contains confidential, personal, regulated, or client-owned information, confirm that the platform and account are approved before sharing it.
AI should make the work easier to inspect. If the workflow removes the source, the owner, or the review step, redesign the workflow.

Confirm trademark and artwork rights, preserve the highest-quality source, and define output format, physical size, color mode, minimum detail, editability, and destination constraints.

Crop deliberately and remove only obvious compression noise, then run one representative vectorization without forcing excessive color or path complexity.

Inspect curves, corners, holes, overlaps, gaps, gradients, transparency, small shapes, color values, node count, and lettering at close zoom and final size.

Correct critical geometry manually in a vector editor, replace traced lettering with the approved font or master outlines, and remove invisible or redundant paths.

Test SVG, PDF, EPS, or DXF in the destination workflow, compare it with the approved source, obtain brand or production sign-off, and archive source, settings, output, and rights.

Vectorization estimates shapes from pixels; it does not restore an original design, identify a font, or grant copyright or trademark rights. Complex traces can preserve compression noise, distort lettering, create excessive nodes, and fail in cutting or print workflows. The privacy policy describes retention of image-processing records and possible algorithm improvement use, while the terms restrict AI or ML use of service results, so review policy and configure API retention before sensitive or automated work.
