Choose one real task, identify who will use the result, and decide what evidence or test will make the result acceptable. Gather only the source material needed for that task. If the work contains confidential, personal, regulated, or client-owned information, confirm that the platform and account are approved before sharing it.
AI should make the work easier to inspect. If the workflow removes the source, the owner, or the review step, redesign the workflow.

Compare a small model matrix with conservative settings, identical export parameters, and no frame interpolation unless the delivery actually requires it.

AI enhancement does not recover ground truth; it estimates detail and can alter faces, text, evidence, historical records, artistic texture, and motion. Some models or licenses require cloud processing or have commercial-use limits, and hardware requirements vary substantially. Preserve originals, document every model and setting, prefer local processing for sensitive assets, disclose material restoration, validate codecs and color, and never use an enhanced file as unquestioned forensic evidence.
