Privacy policy

The data controller for this site is Troiana Marketing Agency Sh.p.k., a company registered in Gjilan, Republic of Kosovo (business number NUI 812008755) and operating from Prishtina.

This page explains what data troiana.net collects and why. In short: we measure how the site is used so we can improve it — nothing more. We don’t sell data, and we don’t run advertising trackers.

First-party analytics (cookieless)

Every page sends a small, anonymous page-view signal to our own server. It records the page visited and, in aggregate, how many people visit — using a one-way daily fingerprint so we can count unique visitors within a day without ever storing your IP address or setting a cookie. Because the fingerprint changes every day, it can’t be used to follow you over time or across other sites. This measurement runs for everyone and involves no personal data.

Google Analytics and Ahrefs Analytics (consent-based)

With your consent, we also use Google Analytics 4 and Ahrefs Web Analytics for more detailed, aggregated reporting (such as which countries visitors come from and how they found us). Google Analytics is loaded in Consent Mode: until you accept, it sets no analytics cookies. Ahrefs Analytics is not loaded at all until you accept. When you first visit, a banner lets you Accept or Decline:

• Accept — Google Analytics may set analytics cookies and Ahrefs Analytics may load to measure usage. IP addresses are anonymized where the service supports it.
• Decline — Google Analytics stays in cookieless mode, sets no analytics cookies, and Ahrefs Analytics does not load.

Your choice is stored locally in your browser so we only ask once. To change it later, use the Cookie preferences link in the footer of any page — it brings the banner back.

Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we don’t load Google Analytics or Ahrefs Analytics at all and you won’t see the consent banner.

The contact form

If you use our contact form, the details you submit (name, email, and your message) are sent to us so we can reply. We use them only to respond to your enquiry — writing to us never adds you to a mailing list.

Booking a call

When you book through the scheduler we store your name, email address, the slot you chose, your time zone, and anything you type in the notes field — so we can hold the slot and send your confirmation. To create the meeting we also pass your name and email to Google Calendar, which issues the video link and sends the invitation. If you cancel, the booking is marked cancelled in our records rather than being erased immediately, so we keep a history of what was arranged.

The newsletter

We store the email address you subscribe with and the date you subscribed — nothing else. Every issue includes an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to remove you at any time.

Rate limiting

Our forms, tools and booking page are rate-limited so bots can't flood them. That uses a one-way hash of the sender's IP address with a salt that rotates daily — the address itself is never written to disk, and yesterday's hash can't be matched to today's.

How long we keep things

Contact messages and bookings are kept for our business records and deleted on request. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Rate-limit hashes are discarded within hours. Our host keeps standard server logs under their own schedule.

Who else sees your data

We don't sell, rent or trade personal data. The parties that necessarily touch it are our web host, our email provider, Google (for Calendar bookings and, with consent, Analytics) and Ahrefs (with consent). We may disclose information where the law genuinely requires it.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy in a portable format — and to stop using it. Email info@troiana.net and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to your national data-protection authority.
