Hexagon island

A low-poly island made from hexagons, on a breathing sea, with one small boat going round.

Prompt

Make a looping 3D turntable of a tiny island built entirely from hexagons. Square format, 9 seconds, with no sound. Use Three.js.

The island:
- Hexagonal columns on a hex grid. Work out each height from layered sine noise, fading out towards the edge so it forms a natural coast. Snap heights to steps so it reads like terraces.
- Colour follows height: yellow sand, bright grass, deep grass, brown rock, white snow on the peaks.
- Scatter cone trees on the grass, mostly green with some orange and yellow ones. Use a seeded random so it is the same every run.

The sea: a field of flat blue hexagons that rise and fall in slow waves. No water shader.

Motion:
- The camera makes one full orbit in exactly 9 seconds, looking slightly down.
- One small boat with a pink hull and white sail circles the island in the opposite direction.
- Wave motion must complete a whole number of cycles in the 9 seconds, so the last frame meets the first.

Light: bright midday. Flat shading, one warm sun with soft shadows, a light blue sky colour as the background. It should look like a cheerful board game, not a moody diorama.

Expose a seek(t) function that sets everything from time alone, then render with a headless browser at 30fps and encode with ffmpeg.
